They have spent 9 months on continuous night duty but this particular night only one of them will survive, with the survivor facing the death penalty when convicted of murdering his colleague.

In the past half-century, the city has lost some 50,000 inhabitants. This documentary takes us to the heart of the problem, which some experts think is set to continue. At this rate, the whole city could soon be emptied of its population.

Amanda and Claudia realise that the only way to avoid Absalon Bank being taken over by Nova is to find another bank that is willing to buy them.

Corkman John Stout left his post in the Irish Army to fight for the Allied forces against the Nazis in World War II. Every day for 12 months he fought on the front line, freeing prisoners and witnessing the inhumane aftermath of a bloody war. He returned home to be blacklisted and branded a traitor, causing him to leave his native Cork. In 2012 the state apologised for the treatment of the deserters and granted a pardon to all those who suffered.
